Returning to that Midnight Heartbeat, 2024. Stoneware, bronze, sterling silver, wild grapevine from Dundas, Ontario, approx. 13" x10" x 8.5".

The act of reconsidering a conditional love to be just as real and true as any other as the most intimate act of returning, finding our way home, to what David Whyte describes as “...this beautiful, enclosed darkness where the fluid inside our lungs and our breathing was the same as the fluid outside of us, and we were close to the midnight heartbeat of our own mother.”
