Bio
Byori Seo (b. 2000, Seoul, SK) is a multidisciplinary artist from and currently based in Edmonton, AB. She holds a BFA in Material Art and Design from OCAD University, specializing in jewellery/metalsmithing.
Considering materiality as linguistic form, craft methodologies and objects become sacred meditation and communication. Through her practice, Byori seeks to reconcile the severance of the body from the spirit, individual from the collective, intuition from logic.
